Ironman Petr Vabrousek began his season on New Zealand where he took part in Ironman competition after three weeks during which he rested and after four weeks of volume training. Petr was satisfied with his performance at New Zealand so the beginning of his new season brings a lot of promises and hopes for him. „It was a good race which served me as a good pre-season test. Swimming was very good, cycling great and during running part I felt shortage of training and small amount of kilometres,” stated triathlon star of NUTREND Team.

Petr was even occupying the third position during the race but he lost the medal position in running. „Right now I am preparing for two months training during which I am going to concentrate on improving my condition and after this training period I will take part in triathlon in Abú Dhabí which consists of 3 kilometres swimming, 200 km cycling and 20 km running,“ introduced Petr Vabrousek his future plans.
