Lost chance for F1!
( 15 August 2009 )

Sport comeback of the century is canceled! The return of the biggest champion of last decade in F1, Michael Schumacher, who should replaced injured pilot Filipe Massa, was avoid, because of his neck injury from motorbike testing. Both our drivers from NUTREND Racing Team told us their opinions about this situation in F1.

“The start of this season in F1 wasn’t about racing at all. The views of the fans were focused on adjustments in the cars. After this part, were the media focused on big question, if there will be F1 in next year in same style. Racing itself was on the second rail. The return of Michael has power to change everything,” assert European Champion in hill-climbs Václav Janík from NUTREND Racing Team, who coincidentally yesterday referred about his possible step to formula category. He isn’t surprised about Michael’s decision at all. “If I start to tell about hours spend in the gym and how the body suffers, the others look at me like at some fool. Formula is really low and though it the neck muscles have to suffer. I appreciate his decision not to start, because it isn’t just in his own welfare but mainly about heath of the others. In cockpit should be just 100% healthy driver. "

Last year European Champion in truck racing David Vršecký is big fan of Ferrari and the friend of Filipe Massa. They met during last gala evening in Monte Carlo. “Something told me that it won’t have happy-end when I saw first messages about his problems with cervical spina. My experiences are, that neck is a part of body which is exerting at most. And we spend just about one third of the time in cockpit compare to F1 drivers.” About marketing issues I totally agree with Václav. “I absolutely don’t want to be in skin of organizers in Valencia. Schumacher in cockpit sounded really catchy and further to that FIA forbid start of local driver Alonso. I am sure that cashiers went grey yesterday.”
