Golden Spike 2008 offered great athletics and NUTREND could not miss this fascinating event during which 2 world records were defeated!

47th Golden Spike is said to be the most successful one which can be confirmed by the results and names of athletes that came over to Ostrava. We witnessed 2 world records - Dayron Robles in 110 Hurdles and Dire Tune in One Hour Race. Both ahtletes were very happy and praised organizers together with Ostrava audience and they both said that they would like to come back to Ostrava once again.

Ostrava this year welcomed a lot of great athletic stars such as a world record holder in 100 m Sprint Usian Bolt and sympathetic High Jump athlete Blanka Vlasic. Czech Republic represented among the others Nutrend Team member and Olympic hope Denisa Sterbova who suceeded in 100 Hurdles with her personal best time.  To see the results of Golden Spike 2008, click here.
