End of each year is usually in the name of balancing of what we achieved during the year. Balancing at company Nutrend in Olomouc was very pleasant. Year 2007 was for Nutrend successful because members of Nutrend Team achieved the following success:

 1. Olympic hattrick
After the Olympic Games in Athens (2004) and Turin (2006), Nutrend is again an exclusive supplier of dietary supplements for Czech and Slovak Olympic sportsmen at Summer Olympic Games in Peking (2008). To use words of Robert Záruba (Czech ice hockey commentator): “Welcome, Olympic hattrick!”

2. Olympic Nutrend Team
Group of Nutrend Team Peking 2008 was formed during the year 2007 and all members have very good chances to win Olympic and Paralympic medals. Paralympics Marcel Pipek and Jiří Ježek will try to defend Gold medals from Athens and Jaroslav Bába will try be re-awarded at least bronze medal again. Gold medal is desired by the best cyclist in women category Lada Kozlíková and very strong quartet will be extended and strengthened by beach volleyball players Soňa Nováková and Eva Celbová.

3. Nutrend Grand Prix Fitness
Sixth year of this traditional event only confirmed what is generally known – it is not problem for Nutrend to held successful international event. 
4. World titles
This year was not an exception and members of Nutrend Team won a lot of medals at various competitions throughout the world. Cyclist Jiří Ježek celebrated after race at Bordeaux, and bodybuilder Marián Čambál was awarded a gold medal at World Championship at bench press in USA.

5. European Champion Titles
Bike-trial Adam Procházka became European Champion and ended the great season with the second place at World Championship held in Czech and Japan. And trucker David Vršecký became European Champion.
6. Vabroušek is the king of Las Vegas
Do not be mistaken, Vabroušek is not a gambling king but he won Ironman that was held near Las Vegas. Thanks to this victory, Nutrend Team can be proud of the unique combination of different titles – Nutrend Team members became World and European Champions and also World Cup winners.
7. Penetration to the world of motorsport
Václav Janík was in his first season of European hill climbing more than great, among others he won race in Portugal. The season was even better for trucker David Vršecký who won gold medal at European Championship in teams and took third place at individual race.
8. Alaska conquest
What gold-diggers never achieved, Nutrend Team member Jan Kopka did! Honza from this inhospitable country of freezing temperatures and ice brought home victory from the most difficult ultramarathon of the world – Iditarod Trail Invetational.
9. Beating the Atlantic Ocean
Only in superlatives we can talk about yachtsman David Kříž and his success. David took third place at the most prestige world race of this kind which is 8 000 kilometres long and goes from France to Brazil.
