Vršecký, master of Nürburgring

Weekend of the dreams has David Vršecký. The meber of Nutrend team and last European Champion in Truck-racing won in front of 180 000 viewers on the famous Nürburgring circle. He is 14 points behind the current leader Albacete and there are 4 more races to go!

All four starts in cabin of Buggyra racing special meant podium placing and it was the best message to Václav Janík, second member of NUTREND Racing team and the leader of European Championship in hill-climbs. They are „fighting“ for the titular of best driver in Nutrend Racing team. „Last year I was leading for all season long, so I can realise the presure Vašek has on his back now. I know the feelings that titular is relatively close, but the last points are the hardest to get. This year I can attack from second place, it is easier,”told David. This victory was the fifth in the season and meant third titular of International Champion of the Germany.

Biggest problem was in the very finish of the last race. David was on the third place, but the engine started to misfire. “Who didn’t go through that, doesn’t know what I’m speaking about. I was sitting in the cabin, sweating and praying.” In the end the engine managed it and 5 m behind finish line collapsed. “Two years ago it happened to my colleague, it seems like there is someone holding defend hand above us.”
