Gladiator Vrsecky is the world record holder!

European Truck Champion David Vrsecky beat today the world record in truck speeding for 1 kilometre! Nutrend Team member thus finished his great season with another great success!

„I want to dedicate the world record also to Mr. Richard Zednik (General Manager of NUTREND D.S., a.s.) and to Vasek Janik (Nutrend Racing Team member). In the morning of this special day, David had his favourite Nutrend bars for breakfast as he always does before an important race and he also did not forget his favourite Nutrend product Shleha which stimulated him and kept him alert for the whole time of the event.

The old airport runway was dry but it was freezing which was according to the Buggyra technicians good for cooling down the engine. The problem on the other hand was the cold asphalt and tires. David said to the weathers conditions just before the start the following: "One kilometre ride is mainly about the start, if the tires do not work properly from the beginning, I can start once again."

The first ride was far beyond expectations! David rode through the measured part in 166,527 km/h speed. "It is good so far, but it can be even better. I will go back in a while, so we will see," declared David before his second ride. The world record is about the sum of the two rides so David had to concentrate once again. And he did a great job. He flew on the road by unbelievable 173,093 km/h which in the final count meant 169,811 km/h when making the average from both rides. "I am so happy! But when I looked at the final number, I could see that I had been so close to get over the 170 km/h limit. Well, hopefully I will beat this limit next time“ said David after the second ride happily. Nutrend thus celebrate another great world record.
